Sidney Twilight Grand Prix
On June 24 the first annual Sidney Twilight Grand Prix took place in downtown Sidney. The racing was fast right from the start with Aviawest-Vega riders Andrew Greydanus, Robin White and Fraser Hayes throwing down big attacks right from the gun. As a result of the early pressure the pack splintered within 20 laps and an elite group of 15 formed on the front. Aviawest-Rocky Mountain was well represented with 3 riders in the front group and the boys quickly set up Ryan Anderson to get away in a small break away group. Ryan showed off his sprinting form and took the win in front of his mom and a big crowd in downtown Sidney.
