Mountain Bike Nationals, July 15
While the road racing was fast and furious in Vancouver, it was even more intense on the mountain bike in Kamloops as National MTB Championships took place on July 15. Jeff Clarkson continued his great season, placing 3rd in the Junior men's race, a great result for a rider in his first year in the Junior category!

Jeff continued his run of MTB dominance placing 5th in the Whistler Canada Cup race on July 22 then winning the Gear Jammer marathon in Squamish on July 16. The following weekend Jeff jumped on to the top spot on the podium again, winning the Canada Cup at Mt. Washington in impressive fashion. Jeff's results in July were enough to earn him a spot as first alternate on the Canadian National Team for the 2006 MTB World Championships in New Zealand.
